Hello friends!

On Sunday, my mom, sister, and I joined a Facebook group centered around hidden rocks.

The concept is that you find painted rocks around the city, and you’re supposed to either re-hide the rock you found, or replace it with one you’ve painted and wait for others to find it. It’s kind of like geocaching, in a way.

Everything about the process is so fun; it’s the perfect summer activity. My favorite part was seeing who found my rocks and watching them travel.

Painting these rocks reinspired me. I have been going through a rut and haven’t really drawn or painted anything for fun in a long time, and now I’ve been painting tons of rocks and have started some other projects (with blog posts to come πŸ˜„).
I encourage everyone to find or create a hidden rock Facebook group local to you!
