My family and I drove to Chicago early on the morning of Thursday, July 27. We finally made it to the city a bit before 2 pm Chicago time.fullsizeoutput_190img_2828

We got a bit lost on our way to see the bean and ended up in Maggie Daley Park at first.img_3179

We finally made our way to Cloud Gate and Crown Fountain.

I met a beautiful butterfly on our way out of the park and into the city.

I wanted to go to the contemporary art museum, so we began the walk there, accidentally walking the Magnificent Mile on the way.

From the museum, we walked to Navy Pier.

At this point, we were all super tired, so we brought Giordano’s pizza back to our hotel room. We decided to ride the bus back to the parking garage.

The next morning, we woke up and went to the Albanese Candy factory/store before heading to the dunes.

The two days went by super fast, but we got to see and do so much.
