You may remember that this past June, I got my daith piercing in an attempt to “cure” my migraines. You can read about my initial thoughts and experience in my first piercing post, but here’s a quick update (up-daith?) on my current thoughts on the piercing.
Since that post, I have changed my jewelry from the captive bead ring to a segment ring. I like it so much more because I’m now able to comfortably wear earbuds and I’m not worried about the jewelry coming out.
As far as not having migraines, I can say I have had one true migraine in total over the course of the last six months or so, and that migraine was at the very beginning of December. Of course, I’ve also had regular headaches (like sinus headaches or stress headaches), but not nearly as often or as intense as what I was experiencing prior to this summer.
Overall, I still definitely recommend this piercing and I’m glad that I got it.
